THIS STUFF WILL GO HERE.

In the beginning, there was The Monad also known as Proarchē. This was a primordial awareness, it had no content, it had no true form. It was nothing but awareness. It was timeless, it had no thought.

At a certain point, Proarchē created the Ogdoad, a region of eight fixed stars that became the abode of the Monad. The Monad split into two beings, Bythos and Ennoia. Depth and Silence. But the Monad continued to exist. Through process of emanation, this process continued. Male and female emanations of God who came to reside in the pleroma, a region of spirit and power and divine light. Each emanation represented a particular aspect of the Monad, of the Totality of God. Some of those emanations, which are called Aeons were:

  • Aletheia and Nous - Truth and the Mind
  • Logos and Zoe - Word and Life
  • Bythios and Mixis - The Deep and Community
  • Agerate and Henosis - Unending Life and Union
  • Parakletos and Pistis - Comfort and Faith
  • Patrikos and Matrikos - Father and Mother
  • Elpis and Agape - Hope and Love
  • Hedon and Soteira - Pleasure and Death
  • Theletos and Sophia - Will and Wisdom

As more emanations came into being, each of them was further and further away from the Source, from the Monad. Sophia, the furthest away, "fell into error". She attempted to emanate the next in line without her male counterpart, without Theletos and she Fell out of communion with the rest of the Aeons. She became trapped in the primordial, material universe as two fallen beings: ano Sophia and katō Sophia. This region is called the second Ogdoad. Other denizens of the second Ogdoad are Angels, Archons and

From the matter that came from what was left of her divine light emanated the dēmiourgos, also known as Yalta, also known as Jehovah. This emanation created a universe that was a mirror of the pleroma, and this is called Kenoma or Hysterema. This region was, for the most part, completely isolated from Pleroma and the Monad. Because he created this world, because he has no idea of what lies beyond himself as an emanation of God, the dēmiourgos believes that he is the one and only God.

The dēmiourgos emanated once and once only, creating a son who became Messiah to those of the Hysterema. The Son became flesh and was able to tap back into the rest of the Totality of God. There is the theory that he was the original and intended emanation of Theletos and Sophia, who came late. Whatever the truth of this is, his emanation and creation allowed for the emanations of the Pleroma to take on Emanations of Flesh. Of these:

Good and evil, beauty and ugliness, even sin. It's all relative. Eye of the beholder, all of that stuff. Sin changes. What's good may someday be evil, and the opposite. The only thing in all of the universe that will not change is my love for you. For everything and everyone.

In that, there is an absolute.

Abilities! Sam has a few. He has the ability of agrokinesis, which means he can cause plants, trees, flowers and anything else that grows from the ground to well...grow. Anywhere. Speeding up the growth of plants that would be there already, or creating from wholeform plants that would probably never grow in that place at all.  This is PROBABLY not an ability that needs permission.  But if you ca think of a reason!

However!
He can also take your pain into his own self for a limited amount of time. Physical pain, psychological pain. Depending on the injury, this may manifest wounds, it may not. It's a rather...distressing type of empathy, really. This ability requires touching the other person. THIS will require permission.

Both of Sam's abilities have a rather odd side effect in his mind, or rather to his memory. He doesn't lose memory so much as he gains them. Using his abilities opens his mind to past lives, meaning that he remembers more and more things he did in these past incarnations. Discussions of this ability with his father and others in the town he grew to call his home have given him the impression that he is a god (or even THE God) of some sort, incarnated in human flesh. Whether he is right or not, that's not clear. (There are at least 15 other people on his world with the same abilities and same impression.)

There is love, there is wrath. The world burns. The world ends. The world dies, and all there is is love.

This is how he was supposed to die.  This is how he was supposed to live again.

mortuusdeum: (dēmiourgos)

I become human flesh.

I live a life.

I love my wife.

I live.

I live.
